Terms of Use

Last updated 17 October 2026

These terms apply to Baby Says: Baby Development (“the app”). The app is licensed to you under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). These terms add to the EULA; where they conflict, the EULA applies.

General information, not medical advice

The app offers general information about typical baby development, milestones and play. It is not medical advice and does not diagnose, treat or monitor any condition. Every baby develops at their own pace, and the ages shown are typical ranges, not deadlines.

Your baby’s weekly letters are playful, imagined messages written for fun. They do not describe your individual baby’s health.

Talk to your paediatrician or another qualified health professional about any concern. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

Subscriptions

The app is free to download. An optional auto-renewing subscription unlocks every week, letter and activity. The available plans are a yearly and a weekly subscription, each with a 7-day free trial, and at times a discounted yearly offer. The exact price, period and trial are shown in the app before you buy, for example: “7-day free trial, then [price] per year. Auto-renews until cancelled.”

Content

Some videos are made by independent creators and played from YouTube under the YouTube Terms of Service; by watching them you also agree to those terms. The app’s characters, artwork, letters and text belong to us. Please don’t copy or redistribute them.

Your content

Photos, names and notes you add stay yours. They are stored on your device and in your own private iCloud, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for keeping your own backups.

Acceptable use

Use the app for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Don’t try to misuse, reverse-engineer or overload the app.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, the app is provided “as is”, and we are not liable for any injury, loss or damage that comes from relying on its content. Always use your own judgement and the advice of a health professional when caring for your baby.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms.
